Protecting Aid Workers in Afghanistan

afghanistan-1The Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief & Development (ACBAR), recently published a report on Protecting Aid Workers in Afghanistan. ACBAR is an Afghan independent body that brings together 151 national and international NGOs working in Afghanistan. Afghanistan has become one of the most dangerous places in the world for an aid worker. Since January of last year in Afghanistan, 49 aid workers were killed, 38 wounded and 30 kidnapped.
