About Us
HumanitarianHR is a woman-owned and operated social enterprise dedicated to preventing and responding to sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, and other misconduct in humanitarian and development settings. We support UN agencies, international and national NGOs, and governments with survivor-centered, trauma-informed investigations and capacity-building.
Role
We are seeking experienced Consultant Safeguarding Investigators to join our global roster. Assignments include conducting impartial investigations into sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and abuse of authority. Consultants primarily work remotely, with occasional short-term field deployments when an investigation requires on-site presence.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional investigation experience with UN agencies and international NGOs
Demonstrated expertise in safeguarding/SEA (sexual exploitation and abuse) and workplace misconduct investigations
Proven ability to apply survivor-centered and trauma-informed approaches in sensitive contexts
Strong analytical, interviewing, and report-writing skills
Fluency in English (additional languages desirable)
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage complex assignments
Contract Type
Consultancy: Primarily remote, with the possibility of short-term deployments based on investigation requirements.
